A film academy group assignment (guided by teacher/director Stijn Coninx) which was shot in 4 hours and written in one night.
The assignment was to create a short film or scene containing no more than 3 scenes (locations) and a minimal of two actors with only 4 hours shooting time.
I got the chance to write, direct and edit this assignment within our group, and wanted to make a slow-paced bittersweet film/scene about a dysfunctional couple.
This also gave me the change to work again with the talented Iranian actor/filmmaker/good friend Soroush Helali, who also starred in my short film “Het Zwijgen van de Storm”.
When Ammen gets back home, her boyfriend Soroush catches her off guard with a romantic surprise.
